It’s a scientifically formulated treatment designed to combat pre-menopausal hair thinning. DOSE F1 is specially designed for women, particularly those who are pre-menopausal and/or have hormone imbalances like polycystic ovarian syndrome which can lead to hair thinning. As DOSE F1 contains no oestrogens or progesterones it is suitable for individuals with a personal and/or family history of breast cancer. Infused with a powerful blend of clinically-proven ingredients, DOSE F1 stimulates hair growth at the root while fortifying existing strands to reduce breakage. Lightweight and fast-absorbing, it delivers essential nutrients directly to the scalp without greasiness.

  • Minoxidil 6% – A proven hair growth stimulant that increases blood flow to the scalp, reactivating dormant follicles and encouraging thicker, stronger hair growth.
  • Melatonin 0.20% – A potent antioxidant that protects hair follicles from oxidative stress while supporting a healthy hair growth cycle.
  • Cyproterone Acetate 0.30% – Helps regulate hormone-related hair loss by reducing the effects of androgens (male hormones), which can contribute to thinning hair.
  • Organic rosemary essence - known for its circulation-boosting properties, it revitalises the scalp
  • Glycerine - Hydrates and balance the scalp, creating the perfect environment for healthier hair.

For best results, use daily and allow at least three to six months of consistent application to see visible improvements in hair thickness and strength. Follow these simple steps:

  1. Start with a clean scalp - apply to dry or towel-dried hair after washing to ensure maximum absorption.
  2. Part your hair -  using your fingers or a comb, section your hair to expose areas of thinning or concern.
  3. Apply the drops – use the dropper to apply the product directly onto the scalp, focusing on targeted areas. The exact amount used will depend on the size of the area to be treated, but the maximum recommended amount is 1-2mls once daily.
  4. Massage gently – using your fingertips, massage the formula into the scalp in circular motions to boost circulation and encourage absorption. Wash your hands thoroughly after.
  5. Leave the formula in for at least 8 hours and do not rinse. Let the active ingredients work throughout the day or overnight.
  6. Style as usual – once absorbed, you can style your hair as normal, and if any residue remains, hair can be washed after 8 hours.

Please note: All DOSE products are for external use only. It is important to apply the treatment regularly as consistent application provides the best chance of treatment response. All DOSE products have been formulated as a convenient once daily dosing. Please refer to your dispensing label to check the quantity that needs to be applied where applicable. Note that applying more of the product does not provide faster results.

Contraindications, warnings and precautions

Do not use any DOSE product if any of the following apply:

  • Known allergy to any of the active and inactive ingredients relevant to your DOSE product (please refer to the dispensing label and enclosed product leaflet to check the exact ingredients in your formulation.)
  • Pregnant, breast-feeding or trying to conceive within the next 3 months (both men and women.)
  • Open wounds, recent surgery (within the last 6 months), irritated, inflamed or sore skin in the treatment area.

All DOSE products contain medicines and are for external use only. Unlike taking tablet medications, topical use of medicines significantly reduces the risk of serious side effects. Side effects from topical medicines are generally mild, temporary and or localised to the site of application. However, it is important that you familiarise yourself with all potential side effects relevant to your DOSE product.

If you develop any signs of an allergic reaction (skin redness, itching, rashes, hives, burning) stop the treatment and seek medical attention from your doctor or pharmacist. In severe reactions (shortness of breath, wheezing, cough, swelling of the lips, tongue or throat) call emergency services (999) immediately.

  • Always keep DOSE products out of the sight and reach of children and pets.
  • All alcohol-based products are potentially flammable. You should store your DOSE product at room temperature (15°C - 25°C) in a well-ventilated space away from flames and direct sunlight.
  • Do not use this medicine after the expiry date, which is stated on the dispensing and batch label. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
  • Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to throw away medicines you no longer use. These measures help to protect the environment.
